As a Graduate Student Instructor in the University of Michigan SMTD Department of Dance 2016-2018, I taught seven introductory-level courses in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Composition, and Brazilian Zouk. It was a joy and a privilege to be part of these students' dance journeys. I look forward to returning to academic spaces, my roots in theatrical dance, and developing innovative programming incorporating the transnational social dance techniques and philosophies in which I have been immersed over the last six years.
